Vet Trust is a non-profit
making, charitable organisation run by a board of directors with the objective of
promoting, providing, advancing and encouraging CPD.
In order to fulfil that role, the directors are responsible for the following
activities:
Awards
CPD awards to individual veterinary surgeons, who are seeking assistance in
achieving specific CPD. One area of target in this context will be veterinary
surgeons returning to work after illness or pregnancy.
Conference
The Trust holds an annual two day conference in Stirling covering small animal, production animal and equine topics of interest to the general veterinary practitioner.
Support of Courses
Promotion of local groups or practice meetings mean the Trust considers minority
interests and non-commercial meetings.
Membership
Membership, at an annual subscription
of £25, is the
manner in which members of the profession can support the ideals of CPD and reap the
benefits of availability and quality of CPD within the geographical confines of
travel.
By subscribing to VET Trust and becoming a member you are helping to develop the future of your profession.
